Storm hits part of Serbia

Serbia's Hydromethorological Institute has issued an urgent warning that for a little bit in some areas of Serbia, there will be strong convection clouds that will cause heavy rains of thunder, local hail and stormy wind, writes B92.

In the next two hours, the Serbian institute warns, the situation will be unstable with rainfall and short-term storms, locally with hail and stormy wind.

A storm accompanied by heavy rain and heavy hail has already hit several areas of Serbia.

The subx0 Streets were completely white at one point, and the ice could be collected with shovels. Some cars had holes. The storm also removed the plaques at several houses”, a citizen said.

Because of wind power, even the steepest trees are bowing down. In some areas electricity has also been cut off.
