Former Minister of Trade and Industry Andrew Shala has reacted after a statement by former EULEX Judge Malcolm Simmons, where he said he received no response from Prime Minister Albin Kurti about the letter he sent to him a few weeks ago, and in which he listed a series of scandals that, according to him, characterised the European mission for rule of law in Kosovo.
Shala through a post on the social network, Facebook has reminded Kurt of the time when he rotated EULEX's jeeps while in opposition.
The government is transforming it! How opposition Albin Kurti was to oppose EULEX, spinning their jeeps! Now that he's in power, he doesn't even get the chance to hear someone speak up about EULEX injustices! Hypocrisy continues”, Shala wrote.
Simmons wrote on Twitter that Kurti had received his letter for weeks but has not returned any answers.
He sent a letter to Prime Minister Kurti a few weeks ago presenting part of his testimony on scandals he says have characterised the European Union mission in Kosovo.
On this basis, the former head of EULEX judges has demanded that he report all the evidence described in the Kosovo Assembly.
While in opposition, Kurti was EULEX's biggest opponent in Kosovo. He described this mission as a ruler.
EULEX has had to arrest Kosovo politicians who have been stealing and robbing since the post-war. E ULEX has had to arrest the parallel structures of Serbia operating in the north”, Kurti said.
As the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Kurti stressed that the European mission acted in line with Serbia's interests and that Serbia was thus closer to the EU than Kosovo.
“EULEX has kept Kosovo out of the European Union as it approached Serbia in the EU”, Kurti declared.
