U.d. director of the Infectious Clinic Izet Sadiku at a media conference has stated that the first patient confirmed with the Covid-19 African version has been admitted to this clinic on 4 June.
He said that the patient is treated with oxygen therapy and that the situation is stable.
He has clarified that they currently have 20 patients in Coddy-19.
“We have accepted a patient at the Infectious Clinic on June 4th with an average state of distress and is being treated in our clinic and has resulted in positive results, and the Institute has confirmed that it is in the African version. The patient is in oxygen therapy, but the situation is stable”, he stated.
Sadiku has added that this version spreads faster, clarifying that there is no confirmed case of the Indian variant.
