It is learned that Vladislav Cherkasov has declared his destination for the city of Durres, and that fact has added to doubts about his entry into Albania.

He is one of two Russian citizens who have entered Albania, while the Tirana Prosecution has put him under investigation as spying suspects.

Troops arrived from 26 states, under the direction of Americans conducted training operations at the port of Durres, the Kucova air base, Berat, Zal-herr, Biza, Pashaliman and the Farka air base.

The training of “Defender 21” was protective and focused on preventing aggression while preparing our forces to respond to crises if necessary.

This year, the focus of “Defender Europe 21” was to create operational readiness and interaction with NATO and a greater number of allies and partners in a wider area of operations.

Albania was one of the 16 states where multinational military exercise was conducted “Defender 21”.

Albania was chosen as other states because of its strategic location and the fact that it has been a valuable partner for the US for years. /European Albana/
