Ramosaj considers Kurti's letter to the Decani Monastery absurd: He made it subject to dialogue.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has been addressing Chief Murgut Sava Janjic during the past month, with a request to visit the Decani Monastery. Kurti's move has been described as unnecessary by the mayor of the Decani municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj. In a proposal for news.net, Ramosaj has said that handling the monastery issue [...]
Kurti's move has been described as unnecessary by the mayor of the Decani municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj.
In a proposal for news.net, Ramosaj has said dealing with the Decani Monastery issue has been prepared to go as far as dialogue.
My position is that there has been no need for the Decani Monastery theme to be addressed in dialogue. But that, however, has been known to come as a request, following the prime minister's request to Raska's Diocese, means everything has been prepared to be part of the dialogue. First of all, the content of the letter on the part of the prime minister is absurd, because with a very small gesture, it has turned it into”, Ramosaj said.
He has said Prime Minister Kurti has raised the issue of the Decani Monastery at the government level.
“Kurti has had the opportunity to request an ordinary meeting without any specific subject, which has taken place by all prime ministers in the past, but not to seek an appointment to discuss the troubles and troubles that we and the Monastery have. It has thus enabled the Monastery to be at a higher level, and these have always claimed to be part of the debates and dialogues especially on this topic of dialogue, which is one of the worst news this state can get, but also Decani”, Ramosaj said.
He has said that if the monastery is discussed in the dialogue, then it becomes subject to dialogue that would imply bad news for the state of Kosovo, but also for the Decani Community in particular.
Ramosaj has said that so far he has not been contacted by the country's central level to discuss the troubles the Decani Community has so far had with the Decani Monastery.
On the other hand, today the Decani Monastery website on Twitter has distributed an article of Serbian media “Blic”, in which the dialogue is said to be complicated unless it is negotiated even for the Serbian Orthodox Church, viewing it as the only Serb institution in Kosovo.
We remember that so far, the leaders of the Decani Monastery and the Serbian Orthodox Church have refused to dialogue with Kurti, asking him to implement the Constitutional Court's decision that properties around the monastery be registered as Church property.
