Rama at the conference of European armies: KSF ready for peace missions

According to the Defence Ministry's announcement, the three-day conference, held from 15-17 June, was organised by US Army Chief of Staff General James C. McConville, backed by US Army Commander General in Europe and Africa General Christopher Cavoli.
“In this conference, besides General Rama, senior commanders of land forces, officers and representatives from approximately 40 European allies and partners of the US and Canada participated. McConville began his opening words with a message of gratitude for the will witnessed to meet again after last year's event was canceled because of COVID-19. The main focus of this year's conference was on modernising forces and included discussions on regional prospects for land forces, interoperation, strategic readiness, building capacities, current threats and those under way of”, the report said.
Among other things, General McConville said that “for all of us, modernisation is the greatest opportunity for our forces to join in the fight for preventing actual threats. ”
While General Cavoli stressed that the US Army has a very ambitious modernisation programme now, as well as many of the Allied and partner armies, so the participants requested a comprehensive and open discussion on respective issues.
In his discussion, General Rama, announced with the reach of the KSF, as well as the goals for the future in developing KSF's operational capacities and capacities, expressing full readiness for their delivery to joint missions for better regional peace, security and stability, and beyond.
