The head of the Albanian government, naming Hungary “historically a steadfast supporter of Albania's EU integration, emphasises that the agreements deal deal with bilateral co-operation in the economy, health and education.
“A special working day with Prime Minister Viktor Orban and relevant delegations, on bilateral co-operation in the economy, health, education and the performance of Albania's European integration, where Hungary is historically a staunch supporter”, says Mr. Rama.
The prime minister of Hungary, Mr. Orban says they support Albania's EU integration and that the Western Balkan countries' prospects according to it are guarantees for political and economic stability.
“Hungary is fully committed to supporting Albania for EU membership as soon as possible. Without a prospect of membership, the safety of the continent cannot be guaranteed -- neither politically nor economically” -- has declared the leader of the Hungarian government.
In the press communiqué distributed by Orban's office, the leader of the Hungarian government has reportedly underlined that he supports Albania's EU integration not only out of sympathy, but also because it is in his country's interest.
Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, has called for co-operation between the two countries to be further strengthened, expressing themselves willing to strengthen not only economic ties for cultural and educational ones as well.
While Health Minister Orgerta Manastirliu specified that during the meeting with Miklos Cassler, Minister for Human Capacity of Hungary, he has discussed measures to cope with pandemic, as well as the performance of vaccine programmes against COVID-19.
We discussed the deepening of co-operation between the two countries in the health sector, beginning with the sharing of the best practices of prevention and control of nontransmittable diseases and co-operation with scientific research institutions”, says Ms. Manastirliu.
