Arben Vitit's name has been the most coveted for Pristina's chairmanship candidacy by the Vetevendosje Movement ranks. Invited to show ) D E KTV's SKA, however, he did not indicate whether he will be Pristina's VV candidate.
Vitita said that his focus at this moment is the Ministry of Health, while the candidate will be resolved through VV structures, since according to him, it is a democratic subject.
“all my focus and my team's focus is the Ministry of Health. Citizens' health, the process of vaccination going well, these are important in the coming weeks. Any departure from the Ministry at this time would lose commitment in this difficult situation. As every time, the Vetevendosje Movement as a democratic subject will hold internal meetings and expand candidates for each municipality. This is how we got here. It's been actively working on the Pristina project long ago. When all these stages go through, we're going to make public the names”, Vitia said.
As for candidacys for Pristina, three parties have made public their names. The Democratic League of Kosovo will run with architect Progress Rama, meanwhile, Daut Haradinaj will be the candidate of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, while Selim Pacolli will be from the New Kosovo Alliance.
