The director of the Office for Good Governance at the Office of Prime Minister Habit Hajredin said the Government of Kosovo has strategic priorities to work towards a comprehensive, diverse society with equal opportunities and no discrimination for all its citizens indiscriminately.
He added that the government is committed to establishing human rights at the centre of values represented by Kosovo, based on principles of democracy, rule of law and non-discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.
At the ceremony, Vjosa Osmani, president of Kosovo, Riccardo Serry, deputy head of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Karin Lobbezoo, ambassador of the Netherlands to Pristina and Blert Morina .CEL Organisation executive director.
With the motto “Basca and proud”, this event was organised by the Office of Prime Minister/Zyra for Good Governance in collaboration with civil society organisations Center for Equality and Liberty CEL and the CSGD Development Centre.
The opening of the Krenaria/Crenaria Parade Week precedes other activities within the framework of Crenaria Week, aimed at supporting and promoting diversity and equality for the LGBTI community in Kosovo.
