Prime Minister Albin Kurti has again listed his government's top five priorities, again bypassing the topic of dialogue. The management of the David-19 pandemic, recovery of economic consequences and reforms in public administration, rule of law and economic transformation were cited as its top priorities.
He said those words at the first meeting of the United Nations Co-operation Framework Committee for sustainable development. [ Footnote] U n NSDCF 2021-25.
Prime Minister Kurti also said that the strengthening of governance, rule of law and economic transformation reflecting to integrate Kosovo into the EU remains another priority.
The goal is to focus on the two basic priorities, the first is to focus on management of the Covid-19 pandemic and minimize the consequences and health of the public. And the second is to focus on improving the consequences that have been caused in economies by pandemic, which requires mobilization of the entire state. Empowering governance and rule of law, economic and social transformation are also key priorities to ensure all social involvement for all citizens in Kosovo. This programme reflects the government's overall orientation regarding our aspirations towards accession to the European Union”, Kurti stressed.
Urica Richardson, co-ordinator of the United Nations in Kosovo, said key priorities for the next five years remain transparent governance, quality and transformation of the economy, towards a green economy.
By means of this co-operation, Kosovo said, benefits the ongoing response to Coddy-19.

Also, transforming the economy's right into a green economy and sustainable use of natural resources. Empowering at the same time all social involvement, social cohesion... The co-operation framework also integrates the ongoing response to Covid-19, so this framework supports Kosovo on sustainable” developments, Richardson stressed.
Finally Richardson stressed that in partnership with the Government of Kosovo, they aim to achieve good results.
Meanwhile, EU Special Minister for Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has met with UN chief Antonio Guterres today, and has spoken exactly about dialogue. /Periscope
