At separate meetings, it has been discussed about the date of elections with Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti, U.d. PDK chairman Enver Hoxhaj, LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, AAK representative Besnik Tahiri, Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq, as well as parties of non-party communities: Vaca, RI, PAI, KDTP, IRDK, DSU, NDS, JGP and LPRK.
President Osmani has announced to political subjects that she plans to extend the EU's invitation to send an observer mission during local elections.
After consulting with political parties, President Osmani is expected to announce the date of local elections, which, based on legislation in power, is expected to be held in the autumn of this year.
