The decline of positive corruption cases in Kosovo has greatly reduced the number of people hospitalised with this virus even in the Pulmology Clinic. Now, however, this clinic is facing increasing the requirements for hospitalization of patients who have gone through COVIDD-19.
The task of Pulomology Clinic Director Musa Hoxha's duty in an interview for Kosova Prees, says that patients who, from coronary infection, have had serious clinical conditions are returning to address the consequences caused by COVID-19.
Hoxha says it is already due to the reduction of new cases of coronary-affected patients have begun treating patients with other respiratory pathology.
The situation in our clinic these days is more stable because it's known that these days the number of new cases infected with SARS-COV2, at the moment, are just three positive cases that we're dealing with, and besides the 10 cases we're expecting results for SARS-COV2, other cases are post cases. - CO VID and other pathology... In our clinic nearly half the patients we have COVID, not positive are post cases - CO VID, cases that were the most severe clinical cases that were handled when they were positive COVIED and cases that have left clinical problems, as well as radioologically, we see there have been pronounced pulmonary frebrosis and severe respiratory conditions”, he said.
U.D. director of Pulmology Clinic explains some of the symptoms of post patients - CO VID, says increasing requirements for their treatment could increase the need for increased hospital capacities.
Pulmolgu Hoxha says there are patients who, even though they've been through three months of coronary infection, still need medical treatment.
It's just, patients still need oxygen therapy, so they're hyposour and hypoxemic. They still need oxygen therapy and are tired and sluggish patients and have no condition to walk or other activities... Each is a case in itself, but there are usually cases that even after two months or three months they're still not taking themselves for normal life so they don't need oxygen therapy... this trend that's developing, we're seeing that during the year we're going to have trend in terms of patients' demands that should be hospitalized as post cases. - CO VID, and because of this, we also discuss it at the USKSUK management level for increased capacity and beds for handling post cases. - COVID”, Hoxha said.
Pulmologist Hoxha adds that vaccine against COVIED's developing in our country, but in other countries it also reduces the likelihood of increasing new cases, but it does not rule out the possibility of a new wave of the spread of the lower infection.
Considering that already inoculation is taking place in our country, as well as vaculation in neighbouring countries and European countries is money, we do not expect the huge increase in new cases with SARS-COV2 because of these measures that are taken even of the countries around us and the Western states, where we have the exiles that come to our country, but we cannot talk about a passage of this pandemic anyway. We're very aware that this pandemic even during the year 2021, we'll handle especially Pulmology Clinic and new cases of post office. - CO VID. Maybe over the next few months, we'll have another wave, but not the size that we've been spending on”, he said.
In Kosovo now and many weeks it is marking the widespread decline of those infected with coronarys.
Already the distribution of the second dose of vaccine for health professionals, which the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine took place in late March when the vaccine in Kosovo began.
Apart from the second dose of anti vaccine - CO Kosovo's VID citizens over 65 years of age are being unified against COVID-19 with the first dose. While, the Health Ministry has warned mass inoculation from June 15th.
