The director of the so-called “Zyra for Kosovo” in Serbia's government, Petar Petkov, has said today 50 Serb pilgrims have been turned back from Kosovo police.
Petkov has said the pilgrims were planning to visit some of the temples of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Their “vision was announced to police officials under previous agreements and practices, also considering the need for them to be forwarded with police because of security”, Petkovic said, Serbian media reports.
According to him, pilgrims are scheduled to visit the graves of their ancestors as well as visit the Decani Monastery.
