The PDK has announced that under the party statute the candidate aiming to compete for PDK chairmanship has the deadline to declare candidacy by 1 July.
Through a media communiqué, the candidate should list 50 delegates ' signatures.
The Kosovo Democratic Party has entered intensive preparations for organising the Convention for electing the party chairman on 3 July. Based on the party statute, the candidate/the candidate aiming to race for the mayor has the deadline to declare candidacy until two days before the Convention is held, that is, 1 July (Enj) 17h. The candidate who competes for the party's chairman, I need to present the list of 50 signatures of delegates from 818 as long as there are a total of Konventa, as well as his/her political platform”, said in the communiqué.
A trip to the communique reportedly before holding the Convention, candidates for chairman will organise meetings regarding the preparation of the Convention.
The Convention Co-operative Group welcomes all candidates to contribute to the better preparation of the Convention. After formalising the candidacy, a day before holding the Convention, a joint meeting with all candidates to announce with the preparations that have been made, the statuteary rules and election day of the Convention will be organised. The party's senior responsible official to contract for all the prosperity of the PDK Convention's feasibility process is the Elecoral Secretary, Mr. Betim Joshi”, says the communique.
