The Democratic Party's “Jurists estimate there are violations in the case of Mrs. Daka's dismissal. The PDK has spoken to other opposition parties, we have pledged a part of the opposition to give the signatures. The matter is being prepared and when we have it ready we'll take it to the courts. We are interested in sending this subject to the Constitutional Court, if even Mrs. Daka has not forwarded it to other ways, such as the Ombudsman “Gazeta Blic”.
Meanwhile, the other opposition subject of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has expressed readiness to give signatures to submit this case to the Constitutional Court.
The LDK through Parliamentary Group Chief Arben Gashi has said they will await the ombudsman's decision to see how they will act further.
U.d. of LV parliamentary group chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila said days ago that President Osmani's decision has been in line with constitutional provisions and legal norms.
A day after the dismissal, former CEC chief Valdete Daka said at a news conference that he will follow all legal ways to reject the dismissal.
If possible, I will address the Constitutional Court. I'm going to look into all the possibilities, and given that I'm a judge myself, I know it's a law case, I'm going to go to the competent judge in this case, and, uh, ”, he's declared Daka.
President Vjosa Osmani's decision on the dismissal of Valdete Daka, from the post of CEC chairman, sparked major reactions.
Opposition parties and civil society described the move as the tendency of President Osmani to capture the country's institutions.
