The president, Vjosa Osmani, has declared that Kosovo is determined to continue dialogue with Serbia and to have co-operation with all neighbouring countries, including Serbia, despite the fact that this state has not yet apologised for crimes in the region. She has said that Kosovo has clear goals in dialogue and will by no means accept border movement.

Osmani made these statements at a joint media conference with Estonia President Kerstie Kaljulaid.

Osmani has said this phase of dialogue is a new chapter for Kosovo.

However, she declared that Kosovo has several red lines, about what will not be discussed at Brussels meetings.

Kosovo is determined to continue dialogue and we have continued to co-operate with neighbouring countries, including Serbia, which has not yet apologised for crimes committed in the region. This phase of dialogue is a new chapter for Kosovo, but we have lines different than what will not be discussed. We never discuss our final status. Kosovo is an independent country. Likewise, the movement of borders will not be accepted in any way. We will not accept any models like that of Republika Srpska in Bosnia, because we want to protect Kosovo. These consultations we have made with Ahtisaari's plan. One important issue is that of missing persons. Serbia must show where the missing” are, it has declared.

We remember that Osman is standing for a two-day visit to Estonia, where state leaders of this country, including Parliament President Jür Ratas and Prime Minister Kaya Kallas, will be expected.
