Radoniqi has been named chairman of the CEC by President Vjosa Osmani, following Valdete Daka's dismissal with the reasoning for hurting the CEC image, which has sparked numerous reactions in public opinion and has been described as a politically motivated decision.
The CEC continues to be dysfunctional because of the lack of two members of the political parties, one of the PDK and one of the VAKAT, due to the failure of the Ottoman president.
