Obadiah: Kurt gets rid of Goran Rakiq, if he has guts

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has said they do not participate in dialogue with Serbia, even though this party supports this process and estimates that the Government of Kosovo should not avoid dialogue.

In the discussion organised by the FOL Movement, the first of the LDK has also spoken of the agreement on the association of Serbian municipalities, which has stressed that the LDK supports its formation only according to the Constitutional Court's interpretation.

He has criticised the government, whose cabinet has deemed poor and interns, until he added that if he had the courage, Kurti would fire Serbian Minister Goran Rakic following his latest statements against the country's prime minister.

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo has cited as important point 2 of the association agreement, which stresses that the same should be sent to the Constitution.

Abdixhiku has said the LDK would vote on any agreement signed by the Kurti Government, in which it would be submitted to the Constitution, but, according to him, the prime minister could not do so.

Much has been talked about the agreement on association for the point 2 of this agreement, which says this agreement is sent to the Constitutional Court, and the form of association is made according to the Constitutional Court interpretation, signed by Kosovo Prime Minister and Serbia's prime minister. Let the Government of Kosovo make an agreement with Serbia, in which it is envisioned for that agreement to come to the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, let it have the point of 2 as the other has, the LDK will vote with two hands, blanko, whatever agreement within it has the interpretation of the Constitutional Court as it has had the agreement, and the LDK will support it. But I am convinced that this prime minister will not be able to do so, take Serbia's firm for the agreement to go to Constitutional. We will build our future by maintaining order and constitutional spirit... My position and the LDK is this: but association within the Constitutional Court, nothing more or less”, Obadiah said.

He has said the government of Kosovo should not avoid dialogue, but, according to him, without direct involvement of the United States of America, cannot have results in dialogue with Serbia. But, he has also stressed that the LDK will not participate in this process.

According to Abdixhiku, Albin Kurti has changed all his stances with the government taking the lead.

In addition to the positions for dialogue, he has mentioned the issue of the dismissal of ministers, which, according to him, Kurti would have to dismiss Minister Rakic, following recent statements that Serbs would not give up forming association.

The prime minister's “is changing positions, all one after one, especially on the question of dialogue and not just that much, you have a statement from his minister that offends the prime minister and we have total silence of the government, do you agree, how one minister is able to offend his prime minister and not have any reaction at all, there is no connection to who he is, this resolution is non-functional by the prime minister today, one of his ministers can't stay there, one shouldn't stand there, one can't be a part of the table, one can't be a part of the table, the prime minister who's got the courage that's got him, he said.

Obadiah has called the government's programme an empty surface and empty until the cabinet has said it is weak.

“All the government cabinet is weak, I think we have a government for capacity represented in the government cabinet, a large part of this cabinet has been former director of the Pristina municipality and we have seen their work in the first four years as regards the ability to make executive policy, but on the other hand there is a serious lack of representation of ideas in public... It seems to be a government of interns rather than a government of the best men and women in this country to lead courageously and give bold alternatives. Kosovo needs radical changes and there is no need for theories of fairy tales of the past, we all know here, we know how we've come here, we know what this society has been having for 20 years, but young people and young people in this country will, over time, expect concrete solutions to their problems”, he said.
