Obadiah defends the honor of Agim Veliu: He wanted to be a candidate in Podujevo.

LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has spoken of media after the end of the LDK chairmanship meeting, where 8 candidates for mayors for local elections are expected to be held in late October.

What was seen in the candidacy is Ekrem Hysen's appointment for mayor in the Podujevo municipality. Obadiah also shows that the decision of the LDK* branch and leadership, the powers of the branch chairman, have passed to Hyseni.

The decision of the new LDK candidate for Podujevo chairmanship is Ekrem Hyseni. And the LDK leadership has passed all branch decisions in Podujevo. The same decisions will be in all municipalities with the aim of internal democracy”, he said.

Abdixhiku has added that Veliu has not sought to be a candidate for mayor.

“commissions have passed to the mayoral candidate. It's not about downloading but passing competencies. Agim Veliu has not sought to be mayorial candidate”, he added.

On the other hand, he has said that preparations have begun for the LDK to return after the deep loss suffered in domestic elections.
