OAK urges Edi Rama to help Kosovo vaccinate workers

Kosovo's Afarism Oda (OAK) has been addressed with a letter to Prime Minister Edi Rama, since the case has asked Kosovo to support the vaccine supply so that Kosovo can start as soon as it starts with vaccinating private sector employees so that there are no obstacles to the movement [...]

OAK estimates that this will present extraordinary obstacles and difficulties in moving private sector staff to travel abroad, whether for raw materials supply, products or semi-products, as well as for their agreements and continuation of international contracts. In addition, vaculation of this category should be prioritized because the same should continue to exercise their activity and thus are very dangerous for infecting and spreading the virus because of the many contacts they have.

Therefore, OAK considers that vaccination of staff is essential, as it would help not to stop the work of economic operators, who to exercise their activity are necessarily obliged to travel to European Union countries.

We remember days ago, OAK with such a request has also been addressed to Prime Minister Kurti and the relevant institutions in order to see the opportunity and begin vaccinating private sector employees as soon as possible.
