Netanyah called on right-wing members of parliament to block the coalition from taking office.
Eight opposition parties reached an agreement to work together to form a new government late Wednesday.
But the group, from all over Israel's political spectrum, still needs parliamentary support to take office.
In his first comments since the coalition was announced, Netanyah urged members of the Knesset (parliament) “elected by votes from right” to oppose the coalition, reports the BBC, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
In a Twitter post, he criticised them as left “” and dangerous “”. He has previously called the proposed new government “the exercise of the century”, saying it endangers the state and the people of Israel.
Observers have already noted that Netanyahu é, who failed to form his coalition despite his party Likud's gaining more seats in the March vote, is likely to try to prevent the group from getting the necessary support.
