Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Arbrevirie Nagavci has reported to the Commission for Human Rights, Gender Equality, for Invisible Persons and Petitions, reports Online Economics.

The topic discussed at this meeting concerned girls' rights to go to school in a covert manner, as well as the question of blind persons and their involvement in schools.

Nagavci has said he has faced numerous challenges because of the difficulties he has caused in pandemic learning.

“We don't have any case from schools regarding what you called us to chat”, it is expressed.

Commission Chairman Dude Balje has said the problem is very clear because there is no law on stopping or allowing a girl with a cover in school, adding that she is still deciding as they want in school.

Balje has demanded that these girls be allowed to attend the lesson, and that, according to her, should be specified with administrative guidelines.

We need to talk about whether the veil is part of the school uniform. We want to specify it more law that no girl is going to have a problem with”, she said.

Ariana Musliu-PDK MP has said she has personally accepted complaints from some girls who were not allowed to attend classes.

“How many cases you have and on which levels she has asked, will you allow religion in public schools”, she asked.

Nagavci has said the problem they are discussing is well defined with its Constitutions and articles, EO reports.

For us it's important that each child follow the lesson in order. It is important for us to create secure environments where all children feel equal. This is how the wear of the uniform is recommended”, she said.

We don't have official data that any child has been denied the right to teaching”, she added.
