Milazim Krasniqi: Sorry Meta finished his career as a divisive

Ilir Meta could become Albania's first dismissed president since the country fell down communication. The issue of its dismissal is expected to be finalised by the Constitutional Court, which has a three-month term for review of this subject. The recogniser of political affairs and renowned professor, Milazim Krasniqi, in an interview for KosovoPress said [...]
According to Krasniqi, Meta made successive mistakes that cost him today. 104 Albanian Parliament deputies voted the initiative to sack the Albanian president, seven others opposed, while three of them abstained.
I think Ilir Meta really hasn't been brought in as president, because he has remained the stake in his party, in LSI and his wife has been party president. He has been brought as a party patron and this is a unfortunate outcome, and it is a pity that Meta has not taken advantage of the case as a political-based politician with real contributions to complete his political career as a president who would be remembered as a factor of unity and not as a divisive factor”, Krasniqi has said.
University Professor for Kosovo Press also said Edi Rama as a mathematician politician took advantage of the situation that Meta himself created by his well-advised actions.
In all this process, Meta is the only loser, Krasniqi says.
I believe Edi Rama has an extremely strong position even with the third mandate he has won, has international support, and in this respect Meta's weakening is a victim. So at the moment we're talking, there are no calculations that Meta may cause trouble or that he will do anything. Depends on how he behaves Albania's DP, but it too is ahead of the election process, which it has date 13. I don't think she'd be joining any Meta cause for destation. From what I'm saying, it is now seen that Meta will make a noise in the media, try to hestirize the public, but in essence there's no power to do anything, because his party is so weakened. While Edi Rama is at the height of his own political power”, he said.
Ilir Meta was dismissed today for serious violations of the Constitution, which were confirmed by the Constitutional Commission report initiated by the Socialists. According to the same Commission, Meta made violations of 17 provisions.
The constitution envisions that the Parliament's decision to sack Meta is sent to the Constitutional Court, which will issue the verdict on the matter.
The head of state, Ilir Meta, has not appeared at any of the Investigative Commission hearings, despite calls received by SP deputies. He even declared that he would not recognise any activities of a ʹaciak assembly and that he would exercise his duty until July 24, 2022.
We remember that Albania's Constitutional Court, which is a key part of the president's dismissal process after a long-functional crisis, has started working in January this year, though it is not yet fully complete.
