“Serbia is a stable country, one of the largest in the region, we feel like leaders of the region and thus we should behave”, Mihajlovic said on TV K1.
On the other hand, according to her there is a provocative behaviour of Kosovo, and this said it will last.
The “has been sent a clear message that Serbia will not recognise Kosovo, but that wants to discuss the future of citizens and their lives, on how to improve people's living conditions”, Mihajlovovic said.
Asked whether Kosovo Prime Minister Albi Kurti has US and EU support not to sign, Mihajlovic said Kosovo has had their support for independence, but said the “times are changing”.
Not everything is the same as it was 10 years ago. It is now clear to the international community that negotiations must be conducted and that there should be a compromise, regardless of personal desires. Serbia has become economically and politically stronger all this time and we are not very strong. Some negotiators there who don't care about Kosovo and Metohija, we have shown that we care and that we do everything by caring for our people and our church there”, Mihajlovic said.
