So has the prime minister's office announced after a meeting that Kurti held today with French President Emmanuel Macron's Balkan political adviser, Isabel Dumont, France's ambassador to Kosovo, Marie-Christie Boutel, adviser to the Directorate of European Continental at France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guillaume Rousson, and the first adviser to the embassy, Cyprus Francisco.
As reportedly, the topic of discussion was the last visit by Prime Minister Kurti to Brussels and the new chapter of dialogue with Serbia.
According to the Office of Prime Minister, this meeting was held in preparation for Kurti's visit to Paris during the coming week, where the first meeting with President Macron will take place.
About three months ago, France's president, Emmanuel Macron, had sent letter to Prime Minister Albin Kurti through whom he wished him for the post and had asked him not to interrupt the dialogue with Serbia.
Macron, among other things, in his letter to discuss the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, had invited Kurti to an official visit to France.
I want to assure you of France's support for all these priorities, for the benefit of Kosovars and for bringing your country closer to Europe. I would be very happy to welcome you to Paris soon to discuss these subjects,” said on paper.
