Already all vaccine centres are ready for this vaccine process, for which even Health Minister Arben Vitita has said all preparations have been made.
The year has voiced confidence that after the process of vaccination citizens will be more protected by COVID-19, while urging everyone to follow information to the Health Ministry's offices on the way and the vaccination criteria.
Even from the Ministry of Health, it has attracted attention that with the aim of avoiding any unnecessary situation in the vaccination centres, only citizens who receive calls for immunization from the MSH and the main Family Medicine Centres under the terms assigned through the platform of Kosovo.
“In order to manage the vaccine process, the ministry, in co-operation with municipalities, has created new spaces for vaccines; it has increased human capacities by organising 279 vaccine teams at the country level; it has set up the necessary infrastructure in order for the mass vaccine process to begin and citizens to be vaccinated according to categories specified in the State Inocation Plan against COVID-19 and categories defined in the three stages of this plan. Currently, the category of people over 65 and chronically ill people are being vaccinated. MS also wants to inform that during all vaccination stages, health workers have had and opened up the possibility of vaccination; while along with categories over 65 years of age, so far individuals of hemodyalis, diabetes people, mountain sufferers, and other chronically ill people, despite their age, as well. The Ministry of Health calls once again on citizens to follow the Ministry's instructions about the vaccine, register and apply for anti-immination COVID-19 on the Kosovo platform, where the application is simplified and one person can register up to 5 other people. Also, it is required that after receiving the release for the vaccine, each citizen will be vaccinated at the location, according to his residence”, the MS report said.
