Maria and Catherine: Vladimir Putin's Secret Girls' Life

They both disappeared at the same public event, probably for the first time since Vladimir Putin came to power. But no one can swear to be really the president's daughters, since both use other surnames and that no one in Russia dare ask questions about a topic that Vladimir Vladimirovich considers a matter of private life.

And whoever doesn't understand that, is at great risk, like the newspaper “Mosscanky Correspondent”, which in 2008 wrote about a close marriage between the president and former journalist Alina Kabayeva. A few days later, the newspaper suspended its publication.

But for some time, the girls Maria and Catherine, aged 36 and 34, have been printed for their genetic and artificial intelligence projects. Thus, this weekend they spoke at the St Petersburg Economic Forum in Russia.

International press has reported that Alina, as a simple athlete, made an extraordinary career and is now the head of the unit controlling some of the major television channels and owned by Putin's oligarchs and friends.
