Lushtaku: The time has come for a new and visionary leader, respecting PDK's glorious past

Through a Facebook text, Lushtaku says domestic elections should elect the best member of the PDK to lead that would bring new energy to the party.

“The PDK, it can't waste time and calculate, because it's essentially a dynamic and developmental party, so with new energy it needs to be turned into pedestal”, Lushtaku wrote on Facebook.

The time has come for a new and visionary leader who will lead the Democratic Party of Kosovo towards the grand return”, he stressed.

The PDK announced that 3 July they will launch the Electoral Convention, which will end with the election of the new chairman.

Following confirmation of the indictment by the Specialised Chambers against the current president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veselini, the latter has withdrawn from all political functions.

After that, Enver Hoxhaj was appointed PDK chairman-in-chief and led this party in the February 14th elections.

After many circumstances created in recent times and long-standing debate within the structures of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, now the time has come for a new and visionary leader who will lead the Democratic Party of Kosovo towards a major return.

Our party should reflect on people's will and demands and choose the best from our ranks by always respecting the PDK's glorious past.

The PDK, therefore, dare not waste time and calculate, because it is essentially a dynamic and developmental party, so with new energy it must return to pedestal.

A special thanks goes to those who founded the PDK as a national project, President Hashim Thaci, Chairman Veselin and their associates. And deep gratitude for Wood. Mr. PDK chairman. Enver Hoxhaj, for his commitment to this difficult party time.
