The physical clash was the situation Friday afternoon at the Serbian Presidency building.
After President Aleksandar Vuciq called opposition representatives to face direct and even physically, guests responded positively.
The fourth president of Serbia's People's Party himself went to Vuciqi's office.
Chief prosecutor Vuk Jeremic confessed.
“Vukic, came down surrounded by some people from the nearby defense and started shouting at us. He lied to our faces and gave us many offenses. The boys from the nearby defense didn't like what they heard. He'd say <x1... you'd like to attack me” but we didn't even touch him by finger because he knows how we'd end up. The close defence would act according to official task”, Jeremic said.
The opposition in Belgrade accuses President Vucic of heading towards recognising Kosovo's independence, thus fulfilling the promise it has given to Western world powers.
Friday incident has awakened many reactions in Serbia.
The Serbian government's responsibility for Kosovo, Petar Petkov, said Jeremic and friends have shown weakness right at the time when Vuciq, according to him, is fighting most for their interests.
