MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Pal Lekaj, says that this government does not see any economic initiative or planning that will help businesses and citizens. Lekaj raised the local income reduction as a concern.
The citizens remember that Vetevendosje was the one that blocked the entire economic recovery bill for months where you think it was a dangerous and irrational law, and as we know the absence of this hedicopoie law, much activity and civic business, and that much of the blame in this loss process has been involved in you as a party even more than anyone. Sadly, then there was something to vote for while now by the ministry and the government are not seeing any initiative, ideas or economic planning to help business the economy or citizens. This cannot be known differently than a failure as a result of without the planning of a government without projects that it cannot lead. And the worse we as opposition cannot close our eyes because the pandemic has created negative effects throughout the country, and this has contributed to the reduction of civic welfare”, Lekaj said.
Lekay further said that with the Kurti Government, the situation is getting worse every day, and this is being seen in local power.
The situation is getting worse every day. Notice that the local government has faced difficulties as a result of substantial changes in the budget and financial management, and the citizen is going to say because of the data we see that municipal governments have a significant decline in income tax, sales tax and other incomes. The combination of other negative values, such as lower incomes and rising unemployment rates and high health costs, have gone into decline and unforeseen shortages for municipal level. This is disturbing and an alarm for all of us because the impact of these income changes represents possible and unfavourable declines in infrastructure, health, education”, Lekaj said.
