LDK willing to provide government assistance, describes it as incompetent in the dialogue process

The dialogue process is calling it another failure of the Kurti Government, the member of the Kosovo Democratic League's chairmanship (LDK), Muhamet Hamiti. He in an interview for Online Economy said the VV is not proving that it can direct a real dialogue.
“The LDK has been in position to conduct the dialogue, and when it has guided it as far as it has been in Kosovo's hand it has been directed better, while the current VV government at the time it was in opposition said it would do better. At this time in government, even when it was the first time it did not testify that it could do so, it even took two months for a government programme to make the part of the foreign policy that is very weak, there is no vision, there is uncertainty, there is no plan for new recognition, nor for membership in various organisations”, he said.
On the other hand, Hamiti hopes that the government will carry out this process and that Kosovo will not end up guilty of failing to keep the dialogue right.
“The LDK is an institutional party, I know that foreign affairs are in the hands of the government and, of course, in consultation with the presidency, we expect that the government that has taken office to conduct this dialogue and not to analyse dialogue for Kosovo's fault because the status bid is in the hands of Serbia and not Kosovo, so we should not give in any way to Serbia alibbi, which says the dialogue is not continuing because of Kosovo”, he stressed.
The LDK says that at the Kosovo-Serbia negotiating table, it will by no means affect territorial integrity or internal constitutional regulation.
“While we have clear positions like the LDK and I believe that the government has the opportunity to get what Kosovo's citizenship and independence are confirmed, even with the International Court of Justice's decision, it cannot be affected by territorial integrity or internal constitutional regulation, it does not make third-level power. Of course, this process should end with mutual recognition, because without that the dialogue process doesn't make sense”.
This is a job that doesn't wait long, the process of dialogue, and we dare not make anyone feel we have enough time. This government has said it has no priority and is actually becoming a priority, and it turns out it's not prepared and it's a huge mistake of this government”, he said.
Another failure of this government is not citing the sufficient supply of vaccines against Avid-19, saying executive power is not working enough in this respect.
“You see that the government became two months and that, critical when it was in opposition, the VV has failed to provide any vaccines, these vaccines we have, we have gifts from international organisations and programmes. What's in the power of government is that it's not going to do anything, it's not doing anything, and it's getting late. We, fortunately, have seen a drop in cases, but this is due to the government's good work, but maybe the immunity of people, because if we wait for the government's vaccines, it doesn't seem like we're going to get”.
Hamiti says the LDK is willing to help Government secure vaccines, as well as other processes.
We teach not to be difficult with vaccines, and we continue to give options, as well as in foreign policy, as was the meeting of LDK president and Prime Minister Kurti, so I repeat we should not analyse the dialogue for the cause of Kosovo, we are in dialogue with Serbia, and dialogue that has lasted a lot of”, he concluded for Online Economics.
