Kurti tells LVV members how he views final agreement with Serbia

Kosovo's prime minister and chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement has highlighted four government positions he leads on the final agreement intended to reach with Serbia. Kurti today at the meeting of the LVV General Council said the agreement, in addition to recognition by Serbia, should include Kosovo's membership in the organisation of the Nations [...]
Kurti said the agreement could also be binding only if it is made according to the requirements and goals of the Vienna Convention on the Law on the Treaty.
We all know the requirement for final and legally binding agreements. For us, the final agreement is that it does not separate recognition from Serbia from the UN seat in Kosovo. So, an agreement that only has recognition from Serbia. but not followed by the UN seating, or offering seating at the UN as a replacement for recognition by Serbia, may be an agreement, but cannot be final. And the agreement is legally binding from the point of view and our conviction when it has the form and content of an international agreement according to the requirements and goals of the Vienna Convention on the Law on Treaty”, Kurti said.
He has said talks with Serbia cannot continue indefinitely, while. Kurti said Kosovo's independence is the result of compromise.
The third “, 23 years of talks between Kosovo and Serbia are under the mediation or facilitating of the European Union. We cannot continue indefinitely, but we need to know from the beginning that dialogue, the talks are not about Kosovo's status, but about the status of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and that should be based on equality and reciprocity, such as mutual recognition. And fourth, the independence we have is compromise. Independence was not declared 13 years ago, and the first 4 years ago, independence was held over by Pieter Feith as sovereign authority already has Ahtisaari in 13 years as a compromise that had to bring a new resolution to the UN Security Council, but that never happened”, Kurti said.
Clearly, he has boasted about some of the government's jobs. He has stressed the visits of foreign politicians to Kosovo, as something he says has never happened before.
“There has never been a visit of international leaders and top diplomats from abroad for just three months, as well as a host abroad from President Osmani, chief Parliamentary Konjufca, prime minister, Foreign Minister Gervalla and the Government of Kosovo in general. Recently, I was hosted by France's president, Macron, we had Italy's Foreign Minister Di Maio” in Kosovo as a guest, Kurti said.
