Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said today it is not up to that time when it can be concluded with a dialogue agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
Kurti has told reporters in the government building that reaching a final agreement between the two countries depends on Serbia. He reiterated that his government's priority is not dialogue with the northern neighbour.
When there will be agreements with mutual recognition that, to my belief, no alternative depends on me, depends on Serbia. You are seeing that our priority is employment and justice, the management of pandemic”, he said.
The prime minister said dialogue is not essential for the state and the people of Kosovo.
When you ask us about the dialogue we respond, but our life is not dependent on recognition from Serbia”, Kurti stressed.
The government's chief said that for 10 years, Kosovo has made many concessions to gain Serbia's recognition.
“10 years of concessions in Kosovo. Always with the idea that independence finally comes, respectively, Serbia's recognition of Kosovo's independence. What do we do now with those concessions? It's good to ask now those who made these concessions”, Kurti said.
