Kurti, through a post in his account at é Facebooke, has said they discussed expanding economic co-operation with him until he suggested that a joint business summit between Kosovo and Austria will be held early next year.

“in particular we considered the possibilities of increasing economic co-operation and trade exchange, Kosovo's need for investors from Austria, as well as the role our military can play in adding bridges between two states and our peoples. At the beginning of next year, we will have a joint Kosovo-Austri” business summit, said among other things in the prime minister's post.

Prime Minister Kurti, as well, at the Western Balkan summit held in Vienna, has demanded that Kosovo and Serbia pledge not to attack each other -- a request he made Tuesday to President Vuciq in Brussels.

Full prime minister's post:

After the Vienna Summit for the Western Balkans, Austria's Chancellor, Mr. Sebastian Kurz, his office. Initially, I thanked Chancellor Kurz for Austria's continued support and assistance for our country, from the admission of students and diplomas in the years of the '90s to the support of the Codavi-19 pandemic management.

We talked about very good bilateral relations between our two republics, reports in the region and European integrations. In particular, we considered the possibilities of increasing economic co-operation and trade exchange, Kosovo's need for investors from Austria, as well as the role that our exile can play in adding bridges between two states and our peoples. At the beginning of next year, we will have a joint Kosovo-Austri business summit.
