Prime Minister Albin Kurti has conducted an interview for the French newspaper “Le Monde” where it also uncovered details from the meeting it had in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macro. Kurti in this interview has said Macro has asked what Kosovo can give in exchange for recognising Serbia.

Prime Minister Kurti has also said he has asked Macroni to link Serbia's future recognition of Kosovo.

“on the diplomatic level, I asked President Macro to link Serbia's future recognition of Kosovo, even to gain a seat for Kosovo at the United Nations, because these two issues, in my opinion, should not be divided. Mr. Macron asked me what Kosovo is willing to give Serbia in exchange for recognition, but the real question is: When would Serbia be willing to recognise Kosovo? I think we should stop with the tactic of always giving more to Serbia, never being satisfied with exchange of”, Kurti said among other things about “Le Monde”
