Shkelzen Gashi estimates that the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo are the two parties in which electoral competitions will be held in Pristina.
“LVV's main challenger, which has ruled for eight years in Pristina, was two mandates. The race will take place between LVV and LDK. Other candidates, the odds are minimal not to say there are at all”, Gashi has indicated.
“I'm consolidating impressions of the LDK candidate, it's looking like an extraordinary find. I'm investigating his CV. His résumé seemed extraordinary. We need an architect knowing Pristina's problems. Good to be an architect. I'm not impressed with this”.
Gashi in Rubikko has said the Vetevendosje Movement should be punished for misgoverning, according to him, in the capital. He even says that the major role in mismanagement for eight years has been Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“The VV should be punished for misgoverning in Pristina. The current LVV chairman Albin Kurti in the 2017 elections has backed Shpend Ahmeti despite his scandals. The prime blamer for this is the current prime minister. The first governance is not only Ahmeti's failure but also Kurti's because the main directors have directed Kurti's leading men, Hysen Durmishi, Arberie Nagavci, Jelal Svecla, who are currently ministers”.
