And this quiet pandemic situation, Krasniqi says, has already provided opportunities for the work focus to return to long waiting lists for patients' operations at QKUC clinics.

Krasniqi has declared that now and how long clinical treatment of patients with COVID-19 is being done only at the Infectious Clinic and Pulmology, in the latter he says only post patients are treated mainly - CO VID.

The situation is also considered to be in general hospitals.

The situation in terms of patients lying in QKUK clinics and general hospitals is extremely stable, we have small numbers of patients who are lying at QKUKUK right now we have only two clinics that are being treated at the Infectious Clinic and Pulmology. In fact in Pulmology now all patients are post - CO VID who after having crossed COVID due to various complications mainly in the lungs. While, in general hospitals we have very symbolic numbers of patients being treated”, he said.

QKUK leader, while hoping that Kosovo will not be hit by another wave of pandemic, called for caution and respect of anti measures - CO VIDs that are in effect.

“It is difficult to predict things how it will result, however, we are following the situation closely and relevant institutions are following the epidemiological situation. We're dealing with the clinical situation and we're also tracking clinical cases that need hospital treatment in other countries as well and depending on the situation that will be presented to us. However, we hope that no further wave will come to us for this reason we must still be careful because the virus is still present and despite the release of the measures citizens individually and collectively must be attentive”, he told kp.

Regarding long lists of expectations for surgery, but also for various tests, Krasniqi says the pandemic has also affected this situation. The first of USKKUK, Valbon Krasniqi, states that the quiet epidemiological situation in the country has already enabled them to address the problem.

As a cause of creating long lists of patients to perform an operation or analysis, it lists the lack of surgical halls and lack of high-cost saving materials.

The reception lists have not only been created because of the pandemic, but the waiting lists at several QKUK clinics are especially old for surgical interventions, some clinics have waiting lists since 2017, 2018 and further, of course, the pandemic has exacerbated this situation however this week and this month we're spending it quietly from COVID-19 we're working extremely hard on reducing these waiting lists. However, we are aware that these waiting lists cannot be reduced in a short period of time but in a longer period of time will certainly come to the full elimination of them... In most of them, the space of surgical halls and more extenuating material will be needed because some of them cost as much as”, Krasniqi said.
