Following the KPM arrest, the institutions have invited the case to be taken into account until the full dawn, in order to clarify public opinion as well as within this institution.
“Independent Media Commission (KPM), today it has been unofficially reported that a public official of the KPM Executive Office was detained last night by law and order institutions, under suspicion of criminal work, bribery. Being concerned with this news, we invite the institutions of justice to deal with the case until the complete dawn, so that public opinion can be clarified, but we within the KPM. The KKPM expresses readiness to offer full co-operation with justice bodies in order to help develop investigations by the outcome of the” case, the media communiqué by the KKP says.
While for the arrest of A.B. has announced Wednesday's foundation prosecutor of Pristina.
“Foundation Procurory in Pristina, announces the public opinion that the RS Department of Criminals -- namely, the Economic Crime and Corruption Unit -- in co-ordination with the Kosovo Police, in 29.06.2021 -- has banned the person with the initials A.B., Administration and Finance Director at the Independent Media Commission (KPM), on suspicion that the same one has done the criminal work “Britore”, by Article 421 of the Kosovo Republic's Penal Code. According to initial doubts, the high-ranking person allegedly received a bribe worth 8,000.000 (the thousand euros), with the promise that he would influence the impunity of a business subject, for a alleged violation by the suspect, allegedly violating KPM rules”, the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's Community said.
