Kosovo and Serbia's delegation have been severely crashed in the works of the eight plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Southeast European Co-operation Process AP and SEECP/ PBYL's in Antalya, Turkey.

In the SEECP works in Turkey, the permanent delegation of the Kosovo Assembly consisted of Parliament Vice President Saranda Bogujevci, victorious deputies Pacoli Dalipi, Mefail Bajqinovci, Life Statovci and Fitim Uka.

The Serbian delegation's deputy head, Djordje Milicevic, in his main focus speech had Kosovo. According to him, “Pristina is ignoring the Brussels agreement and that the Serb population and church in Kosovo are at risk“.

“We want to reach consensus agreements, but that doesn't mean that we will allow to destroy all agreements reached with much effort. We are equal as people but are not equal as states. Kosovo is not an internationally accepted state and is not recognised by the five SEECP member states, he stressed.

Kosovo Assembly MP Victory Pacolli Dalipi said Kosovo Deputy Speaker Saranda Boguyevci, who addressed the Assembly in one word, has been able to address Serbia with another language.

She added that Saranda was only 13 years old when dozens of bullets were fired in her body, surviving, despite 16 bullets in her tender body, but she chose the language of co-operation.

“I want to announce that we members of the Pristina delegation that are present today, have seen death with eyes when the Serb army ruthlessly attacked Kosovo. We were kids back then. We were forced to leave our homes. Serbia has killed relatives, our friends and friends. He slaughtered children and women. Serbia has violated over 20,000 women. It is difficult for us to sit down and talk about co-operation with Serbia, which has killed and slaughtered us and has not yet apologized for what it has done. But we've chosen the language of cooperation because we believe that our only path to the future is through cooperation“, Pacolli stressed.

She thanked all representatives of the participating states for the response you had had to face Serbia's unacceptable language, which violated equality and inclusion.

The theme of SEECP's works was “Strengthening co-operation mechanisms for the future of regional solidarity”.

On behalf of Kosovo Assembly Speaker, who also heads of the Assembly Assembly's Assembly delegation at the same time, led the delegation by Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Saranda Bogujevci, who addressed participants online.

As for the security issue in the region, Deputy Chairman Bogujevci stressed that it is closely related to the security and stability of the countries of the European Union, because, as she said, historically the Western Balkans has been the battlefield of different interests and state and non-state acts, and has directly affected the security of the European Union.

“To eliminate any possibility of conflict or security threat within the region, I suggest we work together for a common peace agreement like the region, which would send a powerful signal to other EU countries, but will also be used as a model of overcoming conflicts between states in other regions of the world, where conflicts still continue. Not rarely are regional platforms contributing to achieving lasting peace and security“, Bogujevci stressed.

The Plenar session was preceded by general commission meetings and the Central Permanent Commission, which were held online last week in Pristina and Istanbul, as well as the meeting of the Central Permanent Commission, which was held yesterday.

The Kosovo Assembly this year has also led with two general commissions -- the General Commission for Economics, Infrastructure and Energy -- as well as with the General Commission for Social Development, Education, Research and Science.

Kosovo has also prepared reports and resolutions of these commissions, which were unable to proceed further for approval at the plenary session, due to the lack of consensus and preliminary objections of delegations from Greece and Serbia, as well as the failure of the Kosovo Assembly delegation to approve these reports without Kosovo symbols.

By contrast, the Plenar session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Southeast European Co-operation Process, led by Turkey as leader in office, closed its works with consensus approval of the key document, the final joint declaration.

Besides Kosovo, there were also Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Croatia.

The SEECP is a regional process established in Sofia in 1996 with the aim of strengthening regional co-operation and confidence.

The SEECP Parliamentary Assembly has an important role as it is an organisation whose ambition is to become a parliamentary leader organisation in the region and represent the most appropriate platform to meet the challenges of Southeast Europe.

Kosovo participates permanently in SEECP activities and meetings/ PBYL's, at all levels and under equal conditions.

While during Kosovo's one-year chairmanship with the SEECP, it was decided that Kosovo will head the Assembly's two general commissions.
