North Korean leader Kim Jong has warned that the country must prepare for “dialog” and “conflict” with the US under the leadership of President Joe Biden. The head of state “stressed the need to prepare for dialogue and conflict, in particular for conflict”, during his speech on the strategy against Washington at a party Central Committee meeting.
Joe Biden, who Pyongyang has accused of following a hostile <x0-political”, does not rule out the possibility of meeting with Kim Jong Un. Negotiations between the American government and North Korea have ceased following the failure of Donald Trump's second summit and Kim Jong Un in Hanoi in 2019.
In May, Biden criticised his predecessor Donald Trump's approach, saying he had met twice with “President Kim”, in Singapore and Hanoi, but without any results.
