KFOR remains in Kosovo as long as needed, NATO official says

In a speech via video at the Serbia and NATO conference Partnership for the Future, she added that it would be the case as long as necessary, recalling NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's statement during his recent meeting with Serbia President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Conference organised by the Strategic Policy Council in co-operation with Bulgarian Embassy as a contact country for Serbia's relations - NATO, reports N1, broadcasts Clankosova.tv.
Brze said that NATO fully supports dialogue and normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina under the auspices of the EU, adding that “Vuciq reaffirmed his commitment to dialogue”.
She added that NATO had always been committed to peace and stability in the Western Balkans and said no vision of peace and security in the Euro-Atlantic region could exist without peace and security in the Western Balkans.
Brze said most countries in the region were NATO members, but according to her some countries, such as Serbia, had made a different decision and the Alliance respected it, adding that the country was a respected and vital partner of the Alliance.
Serbia and NATO have a highly developed relationship, and we are co-operating very well. Serbia is a respected and important Alliance partner; it is important for NATO and NATO are important for Serbia”, she added.
