In the continuation of measures and activities for reducing the environmental impact of TC Kosova B, Kosovo Energy Corporation has also been offered a good opportunity as a beneficiary of the project to build 5 plants for the treatment of all downloaded industrial and atmospheric waters, which has a cost of about 9m euros.
“Thanks to the European Union through its office in Pristina, in the land area of TC-B will be built a total of 5 plants for the treatment of all the technological or industrial waters as we call them, not leaving the sewage and atmospheric water”, KEK spokesman Skender Bucolli has said.
He has shown what benefits KEK will receive from the implementation of this project.
With the implementation of this project, European environmental standards are expected to be achieved in terms of allowing chemical and biological parameters of downloaded waters. Furthermore, with this project it is also designed to reuse the treatment of these waters in the production cycle, as well as in cooling equipment, as well as in plumbing transport of ash, with cʹrast the Kosovo Energy Corporation will save water from Weyman to the value of up to 15% per year”, Bucoli has said.
With this part of the project completed several weeks ago, the phase of drafting technical and commercial documentation for the tender's announcement was fulfilled on the part of the EU Office in Pristina.
The Kosovo Energy Corporation will continue in the future with investments, through which conservation of environments and better energy stabilisation work will be enabled.
