Justice Arjeta Sadiku selects members of the KRC

With 129 votes for, Judge Sadiku has been elected the first winner in the race to elect the two new members of the KDR, reports “Justice bet”.
The second member will be elected to the next round, where judges Mirlinda Bytyqi-Rexagepi and Fidan Hoxha are in the race.
In the first round, Judge Hoxha received 124 votes, while Judge Bytyqi-Rexip received 101 votes.
Unlike the 317 judges of the basic courts, in the first round have voted 253 of them, reports the “Justice Trust”.
In the race for two positions have been six candidates who are nominated by Kosovo's basic courts, except the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica. The latter, except for having its representative in the KDR, reports “Justice Trust”.
Concretically, in the race for new KDR members were judges, Arjeta Sadiku from the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Mirlinda Bytyqi-Rexhepi of the Court in Ferizaj, Judge Fidan Hoxha from the Court in Prizren, Veton Adaj from the Court in Pec, Besnik Bislimaj from the Gjakova Court and Judge Veli Kryziu from the Constitutional Court in Gjilan.
All these candidates had won internal races that were held this month in their respective courts.
The elections are being held at Hotel “Emerald”.
