In the Kosovo Assembly, through video connection the former chairman of the EULEX Courts Assembly, Malcom Simmons, will be presented.

After approval by the Commission for Legislation, July 12th is scheduled to hear Simmons' claims.

He is expected to report on a host of EULEX scandals in Kosovo, including political interference, manipulation of evidence and effects on witnesses.

That he will report to MPs on July 12th, he has confirmed for RTK himself Simmons.

I expect to give my testimony to the Kosovo Parliament on 12 July. I am confident that after testifying, Parliament will decide to launch a full public investigation”, Simmons has said.

On the other hand, Simmons's lawyer, Artan Kerkin, tells of the format of reporting and claims by the former British judge.

After the request coming from the Assembly for Simmons to report on July 12th, I contacted him, and he confirmed that he will report via video connection. The reason why Mr. Simmons has not been able to physically come to Kosovo, it is the spread of the Delta version of Coronavirus, and if he does come he should stay two weeks in quarantine”, Qerkeyn said.

RTK had reported in a series of chronics on Simmons' claims concerning scandals in EULEX, which he conveyed to the prime minister, Albin Kurti.

Malcolm Simmons is one of the signals that reported on serious political violations and orchestrating judicial processes in the EULEX mission in the process against members of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
