Kosovo Police Inspectorate has launched a preliminary investigation into police officials in the case of the arrest of former OVL KLA head Faik Fazliu. According to police, Fazliu had been arrested after having detained a police official who was on official duty assisting AUV inspectors in a coffee shop, in connection with disrespecting antiCondavi19 measures.

So Fazlius has initiated the case “Canning against the official person”, while, despite the 48-hour ban, he was released today at the prosecutor's decision.

Meanwhile, images were published in the media as during the arrest of Faik Fazliu fell to the ground. And for this very case, The IPK has confirmed to the media the launch of a preliminary investigation.

“Referring to your request, we announce that the IPK after the publication of the images has launched a preliminary investigation based on its legal authorization”, the IPK response reported.

Meanwhile, his wife, Alketa Gashi-Fazliu, has reported to Express that police officers have knocked Faik down, which he says had no reaction to.
