IPK recommends suspension of three policemen in case of a workshop in Drenas

Kosovo's Police Inspectorate, respectively, investigators from the IPK Investigation Department have recommended the suspension of three police officials.

IPK investigators are investigating a case where three police officials are suspected (a police officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel, a police sergeant and a police official) allegedly committed the same criminal work “The use of office and official authority”.

There is doubt that police officials have not reported evidence and facts they have been aware of during the official task of a workshop in Drenas”, the IPK reports.

The suspension recommendation has been made in the interest of the investigative procedure, while IPK investigators are expected to take other investigative actions in this case in co-ordination with the state prosecutor.
