The Foundation Court in Ferizaj has declared a free trial against those accused of grave murder, Heset Saliaj.
He was acquitted of criminal acts by Article 147, paragraph 9 of the Kosovo Criminal Code, which provides for the sentence of at least ten years in prison or long term imprisonment.
The indictment was announced Thursday by the chairman of the court, Ibrahim Idrizi.
Otherwise, this case had become retrial by the Court of Appeals.
Heset Salihaj was acquitted of having on October 21st 2004, about 1:30, in Ferizaj, deliberately deprived of life now of the late Nezir Sheriff, former head of Kosovo Police, in the pre-war period in Kosovo.
It says that on the path “Astiretyti” in Ferizaj, while the deceased was on his way back to his house, Salijh with the gun fired several times towards him, and with that case from injuries taken at the scene, Salij escaped from the scene, but at the scene she remains the wallet with personal documents and that: ID, driver's license and some personal photos. /Betimy for Justice
