The Kosovo Energy Corporation, in the continuation of investments in the environment, is expected to launch one of the important projects, that of building the plant, which will serve as a secondary measure for reducing NOX from the B1 and B2 units of the Kosova B thermal power plant, and the value of pollution is expected to be within the European Union's allowed standards and directives.
This project is supported by EU funds and will be of great importance to the environment and residents.
Based on the projected investment plan, with the completion of this pollution level project coming down markedly.
For reducing environmental pollution, or reducing NOX emissions from the Kosova B thermal power plant, two types of measures are envisioned; primary measures and secondary measures. The primary measures are designed to enable air channel UFO to become the oxyness of the presence of nitrogen in the burning process of the Kosova B thermal power plant, where the value of the NOX now flowing from 500 to 600 mg/Nm3 (milogram per cubic metre), is intended to shrink below 250 mg/Nm3. However, through this plant, which uses liquid, injection-like urean, it tends to reduce NOX 250 below 200 mg/Nm3”, Jonuz Saraci said, U.d. TC Executive Director Kosova B.
To that end, KEK will organise a citizen debate.
Kosovo's “Energy Corps, or Termocentral plant Kosova B by 22.06, will organise a public debate to discuss this facility's environmental rating report, so I invite all citizens to participate Masovically to make their contribution in this direction”, U.d. has said further. TC Executive Director Kosova B Jonuz Saraci.
With this plant and other investments expected to be concreteised in the next three years, the functioning of the Kosova B thermal power plant will be enabled for another 20 years, respecting the EU's highest standards.
