Indian doctors sound the alarm: Delta variation causes gangrene and deafness

In addition to the common symptoms of Covid-19, some doctors in India say they are seeing an increase in hospital patients with a loss of hearing or gangrene caused by blood clotting.

“Last year, I've seen 3-4 cases throughout the year with gangrene or hearing loss, but now I'm looking at at at at least one case a week”, Dr. Ganesh Manundane.
