KKPSHCK considers that the initiative of the procedure for the dismissal of its members resembles a unilateral trial with consequences of intimidation, so it has called on the head of the Assembly to take measures for the situation. “Initiation of the procedure for the dismissal of members of the Independent Council of Supervisor for the Kosovo Civil Service, without having [...]
“The initiative of the procedure for the dismissal of members of the Independent Council for the Civil Service of Kosovo, without any legal conditions being met, resembles a unilateral trial with consequences of intimidation, public denigration and professional discouragement for members of independent bodies, judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Kosovo”, it is said among other things in their response.
That's the KPMSHCK reaction:
The Council has sufficient grounds to consider that the recent approach of the Commission for Public Administration, Local Powers, Media and Regional Development in the Kosovo Assembly is to violate and directly intervene in the work of the Independent Council for the Kosovo Civil Service, as an independent institution that ensures respect for the rules and principles regulating the Civil Service in the Republic of Kosovo.
The initiative of the procedure for the dismissal of members of the Independent Council for the Civil Service of Kosovo, without any legal conditions being met, resembles a unilateral trial with consequences of intimidation, public denigration and professional discouragement for members of independent bodies, judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Kosovo.
The labeling of members of the Council, for allegedly partiality in the N.K. case, is both groundless and unacceptable, nor the claims stated by some members of this commission do not stand.
The Independent Supervisor Council for the Kosovo Civil Service decides only on the basis of facts and evidence submitted by the parties and in full compliance with the legislation in force. As a result, it ensures public opinion that even in the case for which it is allied, the Council has decided on the basis of evidence submitted by parties to the procedure and in full harmony with applicable legislation.
